1970'S

The brothers were born  and raised by a heroin-addicted mother in public housing.

1990'S

The brothers 1990’s: The Abberton Brothers start the Bra Boys

2003: “the body of Anthony Hines, a 37-year-old member of Sydney surf gang the Bra Boys, was found at the bottom of cliffs in the suburb of Maroubra. He was naked except for one shoe and had been shot several times in the head.” Jai Abberton confesses to the murder.

2005: The Bra Boys defends Maroubra beach during an attack from The Cronulla Riots. They serve as peacemakers in the community after the attack.

2007: The documentary “Bra Boys: Blood is Thicker than Water” is released. Filmed and directed by Sunny Abberton.

2008, Koby Abberton was jailed for three days by a US court after being found guilty of assaulting an off-duty police officer in a fight outside a nightclub in Honolulu, Hawaii.
